Where is that, exactly?

Only 5 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, on a rocky mountainside on the shore of Banderas Bay in Lower Conchas Chinas. The famous El Set restaurant is nearby, as are all the best restaurants and markets of Puerto Vallarta. From downtown Puerto Vallarta, Casa Karma is on the road to Mismaloya just south of El Set.

Can I drink the water?

Casa Karma has filtered water throughout. Therefore it is safe to drink from every faucet.

Is the villa air conditioned?

Yes! Every room has individual controls.

Is there a full-time staff?

Yes! Our friendly staff will go to great lengths to ensure that you get the most out of your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Cooking, cleaning, driving you around town to all the best spots and places to be -- just ask!!!

How should we convert our money to pesos?

We have found the ATM machine offers the best rate, however there are numerous banks in El Centro as well where you can exchange foreign currencies.

How are the meals arranged?

Just tell our staff your ideal menu in the morning, and it will magically appear at the times you choose. Meals can be served on the patio, by the pool, or inside. Snacks are not a problem, either.

Food from the markets of Puerto Vallarta is remarkably fresh and affordable. You will receive an itemized grocery bill at the end of your stay.

Should I tip the staff?

Tipping is imperative at the end of your stay. The staff will go to great lengths and spend long hours (not typical of many other villas) to ensure that you have a fabulous time at Casa Karma. There is no better way to show appreciation than to offer a tip. People always ask "how much?" All we can tell you is to let your heart lead the way. However, a minimum guideline for our house is as follows (these figures represent the entire house in US dollars, per week -- approx. $200/bedroom/week):

• Raul $400.00 per week (prorate each additional day)
• Raulito $350.00 per week
• Gregoria $250.00 per week
• Gemma $200.00 (also if you ask her to do laundry or special favors, please tip separately for this...$3.00-$5.00)
